
ROOMS AT THE GOLD HILL HOTEL
IN THE ORIGINAL HOTEL THERE ARE FOUR ROOMS
Room 1 has a double brass bed, and a bath with a shower stall. Though small it is cozy and comfortable.
Room 3 has a double brass bed, a shower stall and old plastered walls that date from the early days of the original hotel.
Room 4 is reputed to be the home of Rosie, one of
the full time resident ghosts of the hotel.
It has an old fashioned canopy double bed, and its bath
is spacious and has a
large claw foot antique tub. Its porch is great to sit and watch the world go by.
Room 5, the home of Ghost William, has a sleigh shaped double bed, a nice bath with shower stall and a porch overlooking the street in front of the hotel...on a nice day, it is a great place to bring your continental breakfast for a breakfast al fresco.
IN THE NEW SECTION OF THE HOTEL THERE ARE EIGHT ROOMS
Rooms 6,7,9,10 are fireplace rooms. Each one has a great view of the Sierras from an elevated balcony along with a coffee machine and a refrigerator.
Room 8 has a queen bed and a private balcony.
Room 11 has two double beds and large windows over looking the front of the hotel.
Room 12 has a king bed, refrigerator and a balcony. Room 11 and 12 also have a connecting door.
Room 14 has a queen bed and a private deck with a seating area. This is a great place to eat breakfast or have a conversation while the sun comes up.
Guest Lodges and Suites
Our Guest House suite (Room 15) is directly across from the hotel and is a one bedroom apartment with queen bed, living room with hide a bed sofa, small kitchen/dining area, TV, a porch and is luxurious while having the privacy of an independent house.
The Miner's Lodge (Room 18 & 19) is located behind the hotel and has a rustic corrugated outside, yet on the inside it is as elegant as any of our other hotel rooms. A comfortable apartment style lodge, it has two sections: Room 18 has a bedroom, kitchen and bath while Room 19 has a bedroom and bath. They can be rented separately or together by opening the connecting door.
The Brewery Lodge( Room 20) is located across the street from the hotel. This wonderful house features a King Bedded Master Bedroom, two small bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen with a fireplace, one and a half baths and it dates back to 1862. The Brewery Lodge is also the location of the Gazebo, which can be used for parties, wedding, picnics, etc..
The Bullion Lodge (Room 24) is located across from the hotel between the Brewery and the Grey House. This historic house has one bedroom, a living room with sofs, two bbaths and a small kitchen.
